That’s why we added an e-mail newsletter to the mix. For months we did it long-hand, collecting listings of business opportunities, projects, products and services from people into one monstrously long e-mail.

People devoured the information and acted on it. The distribution list grew to include thousands. And long after the meeting was disbanded, the e-mail community lived on. We received dozens of notes from people praising the business connections they’d gained from the virtual community.
